I have come here twice and both times I've tasted amazing flavours! I can recommend every single dish I've tried (had to try my friends' orders too). Personally, my favorite dish was the falafel balls. If you are looking for a homey warm-people environment this is the place to go. The guy that served us was very kind and friendly. When we were asking questions about the menu he sat down with us and talked to us like we were already friends. He also was welcomed by many of the neighbors that walked by. Specially by this little boy who approached him playfully with a hide-and-seek game. It was easy to tell this restaurant's staff has touched the hearts of those who see it everyday: the community around them. Cheers to a blessed future!

Yanlis hatirlamiyorsum tamamen vegan bir kafe. Yeldegirmeninde ozellikle guzel havalarda sokaga ayri bir renk katiyor Mahatma. Biz falafeline ve pasta&kurabiyelerine bayildik. Sirf bunlar icin tekrar gelmeye deger. Mutlaka denemenizi oneririm!!

Vegan olduğu için tercih ettiğimiz Mahatma Cafe'yi aradık bulduk, iyi ki de öyle yapmışız. Annem duymasın fakat sanırım hayatım boyunca yediğim en lezzetli zeytinyağlı enginar ve mercimek çorbasını yedim. En son çıkarken ağzıma tıkıştırdığım kekin tadı hala damağımda. Mekan zaten rengarenk, hinduların holi festivalinden çıkmış gibi. İçeride ve dışarıda tabii ki kedi dostlar. Arka planda Cesaria Evora, havada mis gibi tarçın zencefil kokuları.. O harika yemeklerin sanatkarı Sait Bey'in güler yüzü ve hoş sohbeti.. Daha bol bir vakitte mutlaka tekrar gideceğimiz kesin.

Vejetaryenken oldukça ugradıgım mekan. Birsürü Çeşit çıkardı. Çok da lezzetli olurdu her şey. Ama itiraf etmek gerekir ki daha çok sohbet etmek için gidilirdi. Tavsiye edilir.

Bir restorantta hersey mi lezzetli olur, işte böyle bir yer mahatma cafe & restoran. Boreklerinden corbasına, kahvaltı tabagından sebze & baklagil yemeklerine hersey cok lezzetli. Uzerine cafe sahibi Sait’in sıcak sohbeti de eklenince vazgecilmezimiz oldu.

Falafel tabağını özellikle tavsiye ederim. Çok lezzetli yemekler ve sıcak samimi bir ortam. Kadıköyün sessiz sakin bir köşesinde gittiğinize pişman olmayacağınız bir daha gelmek isteyeceğiniz bir ortam.

Şeker bir Cafe. Garsonları çok efendi ve şeker. Sakince bişeyler içmek istiyorsanız güzel bir mekan. Limonatası hoşumuza gitti :)

Tahinli menemen bambaşka birşey. Mutlaka denenmeli. Mekan mütevazı ve güzel. Fiyatlar civara göre uygun, porsiyonlar yeterli büyüklükte ve kesinlikle doyuyorsunuz.

İlk humusumu burada yedim ve çok lezzetli geldi bana harika bir mekan, samimi çalışanları, sürekli uyuyan kedileri, lezzetli yemekleri var. Kreş havası da yok değil. Tekrar gelinecek👍
