Lezzeti muhteşem olan, kalitesi yüksek olan bir mekan. Ambiyansıyla servisiyle kesinlikle keyifle yiyip içebileceğiniz bir mekan. Kesinlikle daha daha sık gidip Arkadaşlarla oçakbaşı keyfini sürdürmek istediğimiz bir lokal.

Well, i have just eaten best Turkish kebab meals ever here. I have long covered this restaurant on my previous journeys. It always seemed inviting. And finally, i was there and hungry with few fellow friends whom I've convinced to come along. 4ten 4e apparently means 4 to 4. Not very visible sign or frontage but i think its a place for those in the know like a hidden gem.
One floor up, theres the large grill and two separate dining rooms. Simple and elegant decor with authentic yet not kitschy tables and chairs with dimly lit lighting all around paved the way to one of the best meal i have eaten in a long time in Istanbul.
Room was buzzing with enthusiastic diners and the pleasant smell attacked my nostrils the moment i walked in meant we had to sit down even if it meant waiting for a table.
It was a fairly busy place so waiting for your food to arrive is normal considering how packed it was at the time. We ordered starters while waiting for the mains which arrived promptly. Waiters are extremely polite and friendly. The music, the lighting and the ambience is very inviting. And the food was excellent. I suggest you try the lamb shish and the adana. Best I have had for a very long time.
As i said, not directly visible at first as its on a minor road from Istiklal. And it is mainly aimed at those with in the know. But if you ever fancy a superb Turkish meal, make sure you go there and you will be in the know too. Love Istanbul's hidden gems. It never bores me.
A great place that offers one of the best Turkish food I ever tried. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite cosy, not so touristic and prices are surprisingly affordable. Would definitely go there again if I ever go back to Istanbul.
