My husband and I decided to have lunch here before we headed off to Taksim square. This restaurant is really nice, great music plays to provide ambience, and the variety of Turkish food is extensive. They provided us with warm bread and hummus for free as appetizers until our mains arrived.
We opted for beef steaks prepared traditionally and were quite satisfied with the portion size, flavor, and service. This is a good place for lunch or dinner where you'd like to drink and talk, as we did during our meal. Turkish tea and coffee was on the house post the meal, but we were just too full. For those who'd like to brave the cold, they can opt to sit outside or on the rooftop. We chose to remain indoors.
The owner is very courteous, speaks English, and honest. When it came to billing, I unknowingly handed over a 100 Euro note assuming it was a 100 Turkish lira note. He brought it to our attention and returned it to us. Thank you for a good meal and good experience of Turkish hospitality and honesty.
Verdiginiz paraya degecek bir yer. Guleryuzlu personel ve cok lezzetli yemekler. Bu muhtesem yemekleri deniz manzarasiyla yemek de ayri bir tat veriyor. Buradan cok mutlu ayrildik. Herkese tavsiye ederim.
Hem Istanbul' da hem Bodrum' da tercih sebebim - Magnaura Palas, Marble steak ve özellikle Espresso Soslu Dana Bonfileye doyamiyorum. Çok temiz bir mutfagi ve kaliteli servisi çok rahatlatti beni.
Istanbul'un tadi - Istanbul'da en lezzetli yemekleri Magnaura Cafe'de yiyebilirsiniz. Tarihi yarimadada çok keyifli zaman geçireceginiz bir mekan. Mutlaka denemelisiniz.
Great views of the ayasofya .
The staff are extremly friendly and make you feel comfortable without being pushy. The food is fantastic with lots of choice at a resonable price. We ordered the salmon and my friend had hunkaar begendi which was delicious. we got free bread and hummus as well! Its on the busy street with lots of other places to choose from but this is our faavourite , we went back many times for food and some times just for a drink and a chat! totally awsome
