Arrivati in tarda serata ad Istanbul cercavamo un posticino dove poter mangiare qualcosa di veloce. Nonostante il locale stesse per chiudere, il proprietario di Mr Cook ci ha accolti calorosamente dentro il suo locale, semplice ma accogliente; decisamente un ottimo inizio! Abbiamo ordinato lamb chops e una zuppa di lenticchie. Entrambi tipici e davvero gustosi, porzioni abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
A fine pasto il proprietario ci ha anche fatto assaggiare il loro Baclavà immerso in una salsina al cioccolato... delizioso!
Da tener presente per mangiare qualcosa di tipico e veloce, con la VERA accoglienza Turca! Molto consigliato!
It’s a really great place you must visit, near to grand bazaar , very tasty and amazing food , I visited with 2 of my friends we had the tasty kebab and mushroom for starter it was amazing ♥️ great service and amazing stuff
Good food, quiet place and polite staff. This place has indoor and outdoor sitting option. You can prefer to sit outside if you want to smoke and drink. Ambience is much better inside since you don't hear traffic noise from outside and they have soft music playing in the background.
Very taste sea food with great turkish breat servead to all meals. Very kind servis. Good beer. We spent last money here before departure back home
The cook is real Mr Cook! All the dishes smell so delicious and super tasty.. And the Pumpkin desert with walnut and the most delicous tahini on top is unforgeteble desert! It's so clean and relax place.Absolutely recomented!

Great food, happy vibes, and service with a smile!
We had this place in mind when travelling to Turkey mainly to try the musakaa. After a long walk from Tamsin through Galata, and Eminonu we figured it would be the right time to give it a try.
We ordered and shared Muhmudiye and Revan Kebap. Revan was amazing- the rice went well with the sauce , the kebab, and the apricots. Highly recommended! My partner in crime doesn't like rice but she couldn't help herself.
Muhmudiye was delicious, and it worked well as a "dessert" since it has a honey base for its sauce - I also recommend this if you're hungry, and you feel a sweet tooth coming- it'll satiate both the hunger and your sugar cravings!
Service was amazing, didn't catch the owner's name but he was incredibly friendly and insisted we try a drink (a mix of lime, sugar, and pomegranate). He was kind of genuinely disappointed that we couldn't stay for tea or coffee on the house. I'd have loved to stay but we were running late as it was.
Definitely worth visiting again the next time I'm in Turkey.
This was our first restaurant in Istanbul and we just loved the food here. The traditional bread and hammus is a must try. We are vegetarians and we found good vegetarian food (pizza, pasta and grilled veggies). We visited twice and will definitely be back if we are back in Istanbul.

Found this place after some searching since it isn't on what is usually the high traffic tourist area.
Since this was one of our first few meals in Istanbul, we were very fascinated with the bread that came to our table. Quite like the Indian Naan but ballooned up and served with a really nice dipping sauce, this was really great.
For our meals, we were not particularly experimental and asked for the chicken curry and a vegetarian pasta both of which were really good.
Would definitely have gone back here if only Istanbul had a fewer options to choose from but since there was so much else to try, we couldn't make another trip here.
