Hospitable people, tourist friendly, fair prices, delicious local cuisine. Nothing extravagant, but an honest representation of the Turkish culture.
We were just about convinced by the touts in neighboring restaurants when we decided to look a bit more. We noticed that this place seemed to be busy with locals so we decided to eat here. Their Kebabs are great and prices are very affordable. Their Corba soup is also good.
We are very happy to find this place. It’s not expensive, the service is👌👍🏻 about kitchen it’s fantastic 🙌🏻✨very delicious food and most favorite is- lentil soup
Bır porsıyon adana Kebab ve bır tombik döner istedık döneri ben yedım guzeldi kebabında iyi oldugunu duydum sonuç olarak favori mekanlarıma ekledım
Great food at a good price. And friendly service to top it all off. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. Recommend the lamacuhn, it is awesome
Çok güzel bir yer, çok lezzetli yemekler var nargile de bulabilirsiniz, oraya çok gittim her gittiğimide yemekler daha lezzetli tadıyorlar, fiyatlar da çok uygun, size tavsiye ediyorum.
As the cold winter awaits us here at Sultanahmet area and drizzles started to shower and welcome us for our almost couple of week Turkiye lovescapade, we stumbled to this first restaurant nearby the hotel.
We can’t rifle much more so I say, gettin’ here as only option and eventually settled upon one which was new to us. Ortaklar seemed to offer some classic Turkish dishes like kebaps, proper boaty-shaped Turkish pizza and lahmacun – the spiced lamb topped flatthin bread and etc.
Overall:
THE SPACE :A palatial dining room hints casually as not much of decorations. Wooden tables with glass topped were adorned by international currencies keepsake from diners across the globe.
THE CROWD :Mostly a family-oriented place, frequented by old and young couples with toddlers, as well as multigenerational groups
THE FOOD: We love the lentil soup. Once you got your place, they served bread and minced salad free of charge. The freshness of the food right from the clay oven and tandor gives a wonderful taste and aroma. On our first dinner, we had tavuk sis and ezme kebap and sikma nar( freshly squeezed pomegranate juice). We had findik lahmachun and karisik pide with famous ayran in our next dinner. Both times, they served apple and black tea free of charge too.
THE CHECK: Very equitable pricing and rather large portions.
THE SERVICE : So courteous frontliners. They’re very attentive and patiently tried to explain the ingredients of the dishes. Just one waitstaff that seemed not in the good mood while waiting for our orders. Luckily, we’re attended by another and all went smoothly.
A perfect and good place for Turkish food.
First of all the staff was very nice, it was rightnext to our hotel and we had our first turkish meal here. The food is fresh, tasty and really cheaper as compared to other restaurants around in the area. Averagely costed 10-15 TL per person, depending on what you order.
Staff is very nice.
Only stand off is non-english people. They help their best. But would have been great if there were some English understanding.
