This place is not to be missed when you are in Taksim or Istiklal Street. They are famous by their delicious Potato. It is grilled filled with butter, cheese and all ingredients that you choose. Super recommended. Also, they have shawarma, freshly cooked and well marinated. Recommended.

Mezeler çok ve self servis. Lezzet çok güzel fiyat kumpire göre biraz yüksek ama sanırım bilindik bir yer olmasından ve konumdan kaynaklanıyor. Çalışan personeller hem birbirlerine hemde müşterileri karşı biraz kaba.
Nice concept place. Everyone respects the queue, staff are helpful. The food is good with good prices. It's a self service place so the customers tend to leave their trash on the tables sometimes, so sometimes you can find crowded empty tables

This restaurant is located at Istiklal Street and visited today noon for lunch. We tried the chicken doner and the kumpir (boiled potatoes with cheese, beetroot sauce, ketchup, corn, veggies and olives. Great food and definitely must visit when in Istanbul.

You always have to wait in line for almost 5 minutes to order but once you order, you get your order quickly.

Went to Patatos for a quick lunch while shopping in Istiklal street. I tried the chicken doner and their famous potatoes. The taste was great, but the potatoes were too buttery. The price very affordable. Would definitely go again!

We had Meat Döner; i Usually don't picky at eating meat anywhere but in Turkey you are obliged to eat their fresh meat! And it's like heaven..
Every place have his own Döner; different bread, yet same taste! I would recommend the other bread it's just because this one will make you feel full and you wont be able to eat their famous Baked Patatos 😍

Winning point - fast moving. Quick menu. The Muncie is so heavy and loaded with almost everything present in the restaurant:) it is a total filling dish. The salad was average.
Be mindful when ordering as 1 kumfir is enough for two.

A good doner (meat and chicken) place in Beyoglu. You should get into line from the street side and order your food. You wait for preparation and pay at the same time. Plenty of seating placa. Hefty portions. Good price. A plate if doner + ayran 23 TL :))

Taksimde çok acıkmış br şekilde restoranlara bakarken burayı bulduk.Fiyatlar uygun, kumpir için malzeme çeşidi boldu. Sabit bir fiyata istediğimiz malzemeyi ekletebildik. Servis güzel, servis elemanları güleryüzlüydü. Kumpir standart kumpir lezzetindeydi, orayı farklı kılan bir özelliği yoktu. Genel anlamda memnun kaldık.

The kumpir is traditional and good, i usually don't add a lot of ingredients only cheese and sauce, so it depends on everyone's preference.
Shawarma was also not bad, and tasted clean not so oily, i tried the chicken shawarma.
The staff are nice and most of them were smiling, knowing that the crowd there was insane.
We had seen this place while walking on İstiklal cd one evening and it looked interesting. Had a chance to check out this noon at lunch time. They prepare mashed potatoes in an interesting way and you can choose the toppings/fillings like a sandwich. It was superb. And we had some fried potato chips as well. One of the best chips.

After a stroll at istiklal Cadessi we sat down at Patatos. With a very sweet lemonade and the Kumpir we had a nice fast food- diner. Boy oh boy what a calorie bomb. But is was good.

Their fresh apple juice tastes like an actual apple, the potato is genius and the shawarma is supreme. It's also one of the cleanest I've seen in the area and has a lovely upstairs seating. Highly recommended
Dropped by this place twice while visiting Istanbul and it was amazing.
Patatos serve baked potatos of which the interior is mixed with butter and cheese (it's called Kumpir). The interior of the potato was so delicious, soft, moist and fluffy. A variety of toppings to be added are available that you can choose from. The options can range like ham, corn, peas, sausage, pickles, pickled beets, green and black olives, mushroom, etc.
Can't wait to go back and try this deliciousness again.

Also good for chicken pide , the place is open till late and after a stroll around taksim , its a great place to sit and eat some of the yummy stuff they have to offer.

You know there are some restaurants that u have to visit no matter what happens, yeah this is that kind of a restaurant . This is the kind of restaurant that you don't want to miss out . If you are a tourist walking around istikala street and Wanne grab a quick bite , definately go here . I was in Istanbul for jus 5 days an out of those 5 days my dinner for the first 4 days was this. Literally fell in love with it . The service was just too quick . The staff always made my day and the hygiene was also top notch. From potatoes to shwarma they had it all. But If you are a tourist and did not eat this lip smacking dish then what did u eat ? Their signature dish was the baked potato which was for 10 lira about 200rs . There were about 15-20 different toppings/fillings from which you could choose any without limitations. Also depending on your taste they can make it spic , tangy or even sweet in some cases . Overall this was one hell of an experience and I hope some outlet like this also open in my country.

But what they famous for is the KUMPIR- fluffy freshly baked potato, the maker fluffs up the inside and doses it with loads of butter and cheese! Then you can have the options of toppings. Olives, corn, meat, slaw....so much to choose from to make this the ultimate fast food of turkey

Such a lovely place for what can be a tricky meal to have. This place offers many fast food options yet it's most famous for the kumper.
Kumper is turkey's version of loaded potatoes. Oven baked potatoes that are than opened mashed with butter and cheese and served in the skin with many many toppings. Turks have the tendency to add manyyyy, if not all, toppings then add mayo and ketchup on top. That's way too heavy for me, so I tried it with the addition of corn, peas, carrots, and mushrooms. It's a very nice meal to enjoy while walking down istiklal street or while sitting at the restaurant's upper floor which overlooks the street.

Amazing concept!! This is a place you should visit to try the jumbo baked potatoes filled with lots of toppings. Simple but delicious and fulfilling. I personally chose the plain potato topped with yogurt and cucumbers! It might be boring but it was really good.
I also tried their shawarma, it was really yummy for a restaurant that specializes in potatoes. Recommended !!
